Office 365 is a subscription service that gives you all the latest updates of the productive tools introduced by Microsoft. Office 365 offers subscription plants for different users like, for small and middle-sized business, home and personal use, schools, large corporates, etc.
All Office 365 subscriptions plans have some basic applications like Powerpoint, Word and Excel. It also offers free online space and cloud-connected features. You can choose the subscription plans on a monthly or yearly basis. Another advantage of having a subscription plan is, you keep getting the latest security updates, new features introduced, fixes and online technical support.
Office 2019 is a one time purchase application. This means you do not have a subscription plan for this and you buy the suite by paying for it one time. Office 2019 is available for both Mac and Windows. One drawback of Office 2019 is you do not have any online access to the latest updates of the version. This means that if you wish to upgrade to the latest version, you will have to buy it again.

Office 365 offers a monthly or yearly subscription that you can cancel whenever you want.
Office 2019 is a one time purchase and cannot be cancelled or updated.
Office 365 includes the latest version of applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Excel. It also gives access to the latest updates, security features, bugs fixes, online cloud space, etc.

With Office 2019, although security updates are included, however, you will not be notified about any feature updates. Also if you wish to upgrade the version, you will have to buy the new one.

With Office 365 Home, you can install Office 365 on all of your devices and connect to five at the same time, which means you can use Office no matter where you are or what device you are using. This includes PCs, Macs, tablets and phones. You can also share your subscription with up to five other people.
With Office 2019, you can only have a one time purchase and it can be used only one on either PC or Mac.
4- Online Storage:
Office 365 gives you up to 1 TB of online cloud storage per user and you can access your file from anywhere by logging in into your account.
Office 2019, does not give any online storage.
5- Technical Support:
With Office 365, you can contact the support team anytime until your subscription is valid without having to pay anything extra for it.
Office 2019 does not provide any online technical support. However, it does offer initial technical support but only for the installation.
